It's bleak, drenched in flavor, has a bunch of interesting factions, and loads of tables to generate character details. Third thing: The Rift of Mar-Milloir, and other expansions in the Rakehell series. I like these settings and the world they combine to make so much, it reeeally makes me want to run a second campaign outside of Dolmenwood. They're sparse, present no rules or stats, and each issue doesn't require any other issues to understand. In a different vein, the Malaysian zine series A Thousand Thousand Islands has 8 self-contained settings that are all excellent. I use them on the fly to give myself some surprises, but you could definitely pre-roll stuff before sessions if that's more your speed. And of course, the creator made even more locations to expand it. It's excellent, and even the forest locations alone have really livened up my Dolmenwood campaign.
